SHORT FILM
When your name is erased, who are you?
Directed by Samuel J. Attias
In Los Angeles, a Jewish screenwriter is told to erase his name if he wants to succeed. Haunted by the ghost of Michael Curtiz and the forgotten founders of Hollywood, he embarks on a journey through diners, motels, and temples where the past refuses to stay buried. At its heart lies a question that echoes across generations: who are we, when our names are no longer ours?
To erase a name is to erase a life.
The dream factory was built by Jews who hid their true selves to survive.
To remember is to fight erasure and to carry the flame forward.
